That’s weird, it’s not being released anywhere near Valentine’s Day. Is this like when 50 Cent release Valentine’s Day Massacre but it wasn’t released on V-Day so they renamed it The Massacre?
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced 1-disc DVD ($29.95), 2-disc DVD ($34.98), and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of My Bloody Valentine 3D for the 19th May. Each will include 2D and 3D editions of the film along with 4 pairs of 3D glasses. No extras will be included on the 1-disc DVD. The 2-disc and Blu-ray releases will include an audio commentary, two featurettes (“Deep Inside My Bloody Valentine”, “Sex, Blood and Screams”), deleted scenes, and a gag reel. The Blu-ray release will also include a digital copy of the film.
Which begs the question, why can’t you give me a digital copy with the 2 disc special edition? Slackers, you should have plenty of disc space leftover, throw a Digital Copy on there. Even if it’s not the greatest quality.
