Fox to give "Best Picture" Winner Slumdog Millionaire a late March release

Fox Home Entertainment has announced plans for 2009’s big Oscar winner, Slumdog Millionaire, to come to home video a little over one month after taking home Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, and five others. Danny Boyle’s film, adapted from Simon Beaufoy’s novel ‘Q & A,’ tells the story of Jamal, a Mumbai teen who participates in an Indian version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire in order to get the attention of his one true love (no, not money). Slumdog Millionaire comes to DVD and Blu-ray* on March 31st.
