JBL vs CM Punk at WrestleMania?

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that JBL’s huge announcement may be that he is challenging CM Punk for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania.

JBL has been saying he will do something historic at WrestleMania, if he has a match against CM Punk it could be historic for many reasons:

– CM Punk faced JBL in his first World title defense.

– The WWE Intercontinental title has not been defended at WrestleMania since WrestleMania X8 in 2002. That match was Rob Van Dam winning the title from William Regal.

– If he wins JBL would be the only man to win the Intercontinental and the US championships at a WrestleMania.
