Three New WWE Releases, Including A Hall Of Famer

News

Pro Wrestling Torch’s James Caldwell is reporting that WWE has released Ryan Braddock and Patrick Brink.

Braddock made a few appearances on Smackdown and ECW in the fall before being sent back to FCW for further training.

Brink was a developmental talent who trained at Team 3D’s Wrestling Academy. The Baltimore Sun’s wrestling blogger, Kevin Eck, has more on Brink here. He passes along a story from PWI that Brink got himself in trouble with management by getting tattoos without WWE’s permission. He doesn’t link to it, so neither will I.

PWI’s Mike Johnson will get credit for reporting that Afa Sr joins his son as another victim of WWE’s roster cuts. Afa was working in consultant’s role, recommending talent to be signed, until he was cut. John Laurinaitis is still scheduled to attend a training camp at Afa’s school in June, though.
