Woodstock stands as the ultimate concert experience. For many people it was the defining moment of their lives and now they can relive the experience with the Ultimate Collector’s Edition of Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music. This limited edition re-release of the four-hour, Oscar-winning documentary will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray beginning June 9, 2009 and will include two hours of rarely seen performances from Joan Baez, The Who, and Jefferson Airplane just to name a few.

A third hour is devoted entirely to extra features like interviews with Martin Scorsese, Hugh Hefner, and Eddie Kramer; and various behind-the-scenes featurettes. An exclusive Customize Your Own Woodstock feature along with a Media Center function, My WB Commentary, and Live Community Screening will be available on the Blu-Ray.

And in addition to all of that, the DVDs will be packaged in a numbered giftbox which will include various collectibles like a reprint of the issue of Life covering the concert, vintage photos in a lucite lenticular display, assorted memorabilia, and iron-on dove and guitar emblems.

The Blu-Ray version will sell for $69.99 and the DVD for $59.98. A Two-Disk Special Edition will also be released selling for 24.98.
