The L Word's Jennifer Beals To Guest Star on FOX's Lie To Me

News

FOX will fill in a sizable piece of Cal Lightman’s history on Lie to Me when Jennifer Beals joins the show for multiple episodes.

Beals, who’s coming off Showtime’s The L Word, will guest-star in an arc as Cal’s (Tim Roth) ex-wife. Her first episode is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29.

Her character, Zoe Landau, is an assistant U.S. attorney who hires the Lightman Group to help solve an arson case. When she and Cal start working together, it becomes clear that they haven’t resolved all their feelings for one another.

Beals played Bette Porter for six seasons on The L Word, which ended earlier this month. After rising to fame in Flashdance, she starred in Vampire’s Kiss, Devil in a Blue Dress and Runaway Jury, among others. She’s also guested on Frasier and Law & Order.

She’s currently filming the post-apocalyptic western The Book of Eli with Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
