John Cena was a guest on New York’s WFAN sports radio, talking with Boomer and Carlson about 12 Rounds.
As he has touched on in some other interviews, he said that the laws should make steroid use punishable by jailtime. He said that this would make the choice to use tougher for athletes – particularly young ones. When Boomer asked him if this was the pot calling the kettle black because of wrestlers’ reputation for juicing, Cena touted the wellness policy and said he was clean. In fact, he said he never thought about using steroids, and regardless of what WWE Corporate or what his coworkers think, he will be outspoken about this issue.
