PWI’s Mike Johnson reports the following on Austin’s WWE future and the Hall of Famers:
Steve Austin did indeed see this Wrestlemania weekend as his closing the book on his wrestling career, but he’ll remain “loosely associated” with WWE in the future. Whether this means he’ll be handing out stunners in a WWE ring, to let’s say Santina and Santino Marella, ever again remains to be seen.
WWE realized that the time constraints hurt the Hall of Fame Ceremony. Johnson was told the morning after the ceremony. Johnson learned the morning after the ceremony that WWE planned to conduct interviews with the Hall of Famers that would allow them to go in to more detail about their careers. No word on where those interviews will show up yet.
