Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos weighed in at 150 pounds tonight (after previously weighing in at 152 pounds for a scheduled 145 pound fight). The California State Athletic Commission decided to allow the bout to continue, but Hotomi Akano’s representatives have informed CSAC officials that she will be declining the fight.
This could potentially be yet another big blow to the much-anticipated fight between Santos and Gina Carano. Neither Carano or Santos have shown much ability to make weight for scheduled fights.
