PWI’s Mike Johnson has a press release from ROH, responding to comments made by Larry Sweeney and Dragon’s Gate’s CIMA about ROH owing them money.
Their response to Sweeney is that he’s under contract, they’ve paid him for the dates he’s worked under that contract, and he isn’t owed money for dates he was unable to work. They also wish him the best in working out “his current issues”.
Their response to CIMA is that he’s a liar. Well, not in so many words, but they say that his claim that ROH didn’t share some of the air fare and guarantees from a joint show between the promotions is false, and that CIMA and DG know what end of the bargain they didn’t live up to, and why ROH isn’t working with them any more.
