A pair of HBO series, True Blood and the upcoming comedy How to Make It in America, have added to their casts, as has the cable channel’s pilot The Wonderful Maladys.

Former Eureka star Ed Quinn has joined the vampire series True Blood for season two, which starts in June. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Quinn will be playing a recurring part as Stan, a “powerful” vampire from Texas who comes to Bon Temps.

In addition to Eureka, Quinn’s credits include a recurring part on CSI: NY and guest spots on JAG and Crossing Jordan, among others.

How to Make It, which premieres later this year, centers on two young hustlers (Victor Rasuk and Bryan Greenberg) in New York. They’ll be joined by Lake Bell (Boston Legal, What Happens in Vegas), who was a guest star for the pilot but has now been promoted to a regular role.

The Wonderful Maladys, meanwhile, has added Adam ScottM and Zak Orth to its cast. Scott, who currently stars in Party Down on Starz and is a veteran of another HBO series, Tell Me You Love Me, will play the ex of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character. Orth (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) will play the husband of Molly Parker.

The show revolves around three adult siblings played by Gellar, Parker and Nate Corddry.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
