Upcoming UFC 97 opponents Chuck Liddell and Shogun Rua will be the two playable characters available in the upcoming demo of UFC Undisputed 2009. The demo will be released on XBox Live and the Playstation Store on April 23rd.
I know that having two playable characters is the typical way to go about things when releasing demo versions of fighting games, but in the case of Undisputed 2009 I think it would have been wise to have four playable characters instead of two. The game prides itself on fighters having different styles, but the two characters available in the demo will have almost the same same style. It would have been better to mix in someone with a very strong wrestling game, or a jiu-jitsu ace, in order to really emphasize the different tactics that go into the game.
Regardless of the characters available, I expect the Undisputed demo to be one of the most downloaded apps available on either console upon release.
