PWI’s Mike Johnson has the following on Larry Sweeney. On his Facebook page, using his real name of Alex Whybrow, he said that he quit ROH this morning and that he’d be appearing for Ian Rotten soon. This comes days after a myspace post where he sounded confident he’d be back with ROH soon and put them over as a great place to work.
For their part, ROH has said that they don’t expect him back unless he deals with his personal issues, which apparently include bi-polar disorder, something he’s said he’s dealt with for years. At any rate, his contract expires in May, so it may be a moot point soon.
Johnson also provides a youtube video of Sweeney wrestling some fans outside of Reliant Stadium before Wrestlemania, which Sweeney attended as a fan. This confirms reports from ‘Mania weekend from fans of erratic behavior, and coincides with him being escorted out of the ROH PPV taping that weekend.
