It indeed looks like TNA was teasing Taz as the second World Champion. TNA stated that they would begin to ‘unlock the identity’ of the second world champion during the LockDown broadcast. During the event Samoa Joe was seen speaking to someone backstage. Mike Tenay stated that he was receiving some last minute advice or instructions for the Lethal Lockdown match. During the match Joe hit the ring and used a number of Taz’s signature suplex maneuvers.
The first former World Champ was of course Stevie Richards Bobby Lashley.
