UFC 2009 Undsiputed Demo Released

News, Results

Mike Goldberg introduced the Mandalay Bay Arena shortly before the light heavyweight bout between Chuck Liddell and Mauricio Rua was set to began.

The electricity was in the air, and even though I was watching on my television, I could most definitely feel it.

Bruce Buffer introduced our fighters, and the bout was underway.

Chuck began the fight with a high head kick, which immediately sent Shogun to the mat.

Rua jumped up quickly, still very dazed from the first hit of the night.

Shogun went for the clinch and was successful, using his experience in Muay-Thai to damage the mid-section of the 39-year-old Liddell.

Liddell recovered and broke free, landing a combination of swift jabs.

The blood began to run down Rua’s lip, as the hunger in Liddell’s eye grew.

Rua came forward, Liddell retreated.

All of a sudden, Liddell lunges forward with a superman punch, sending the mouthpiece onto the mat, accompanied by Rua.

This was not the outcome of the UFC 97 fight featuring Chuck Liddell and Shogun Rua. This was the rematch available in the new demo of UFC 2009 Undisputed.

I downloaded the demo off of XBOX Live this afternoon, and after three hours of play, finally put my controller down.

As an avid fan of MMA, I found this new development for gamers and fans absolutely amazing.

I decided my first move should be to the tutorial that was made available in this demo.

The tutorial features several different categories, including navigation and submission. The control available for the gamer is remarkable, and after 30 minutes, I felt I was ready to take it into the octagon.

There are only two fighters available in this demo: Chuck Liddell and Mauricio Rua.

I decided to avenge the “real life” loss, choosing to fight as Chuck Liddell.

What happened during the bout was detailed above.

By finally playing this game, I realized how well the action of MMA had been placed into this demo.

From the striking to the ground game, everything was as close to the real thing as a video game can get.

While the fighters featured are light heavyweights with limited skill on the ground, one is still able to experience with ground positioning, and submissions, such as arm-bars and kimuras.

Not only is the gameplay unbelievable, the graphics can be described as that as well.

The graphics of this game maybe some of the best graphics introduced to gamers at this point in time.

The fighters are identical to their real selves, the cuts seem so real, and everything else is ridiculously realistic.

UFC 2009 Undisputed hits the markets in mid-May. Until then, we will just have to settle for the demo featuring Mauricio Rua and Chuck Liddell. I have already fought around 50 fights with these two fighters. If you download this demo, you will see why.
