PWI’s Mike Johnson wants to reassure everyone that John Cena is fine after taking a bump off the stage in to an exploding spotlight at the end of the Last Man Standing match.

Johnson also reports that Lance Hoyt announced he’s signed a WWE contract at an indie show over the weekend. The show was held by Professional Championship Wrestling, the promotion where he broke in to the business. They gave him a fair well at the end of the show.

PWI’s Buck Woodward reports that WWE was named the 37th best licensor in Global License Magazine’s Top 100 list. They beat out such big names as Disney, Universal Studios, and Coca Cola. Their new toy manufacturer, Mattel, took 13th place.

Woodward also reports that the MSG Dark Match for the Smackdown tapings is being advertised as Jeff Hardy, Triple H, and John Cena vs. Edge, Randy Orton, and Matt Hardy. He’s skeptical that Cena and Triple H will be involved after the injury angles involved in the Backlash main events, but we shall see. Or not. It’s a dark match, after all.

Finally, Woodward points out a post about Backlash at the Crowe’s Nest, featuring some great pictures from the event, including an Edge and Christian moment not shown on PPV.
