An Answer To The Big Question Revolving Around Terminator Salvation

Disc Announcements, News

Everyone has been dying to know: Will Arnold “The Govenator” Schwarzenegger be appearing in the new Terminator film? Because seriously, what is a Terminator film without Arny?

Well if you want to know the answer to that question then read on.

It seems he is and isn’t going to be in the upcoming film. How is that possible? Movie magic in form of CGI.

Schwarzenegger revealed in a webcast this week that he may be appearing in the upcoming Terminator Salvation, but when he said he didn’t want to act, he left many fans puzzled.

It turns out Schwarzenegger has been secretly working with director McG and the effects team to reprise his signature role without flexing a muscle.

A body-cast mold of Schwarzenegger, created when he first appeared as the human hunting cyborg, provided the basis for a digital-effects version of his famous character. The figure appears in Terminator Salvation as a living, breathing actor.

Schwarzenegger viewed the resulting footage and gave his approval just in time for McG to include the footage before the final cut of the film was completed. Warner Bros will begin screening the movie in early May and it opens May 21.
