Pacquiao KO’s Hatton In Second

WS - Manny Pacquiao

Got any plans on this beautiful Saturday night?

Chances are, you’re going to be watching the most anticipated boxing match of the year: Manny Pacquiao will step into the ring with Ricky Hatton, and the entire world will be watching.

This is a big fight. I rarely watch boxing anymore (despite having trained it during my high school years), and I’m going to order this fight. From all indications, these are two men at the very top of their profession stepping into the ring to do battle, and what’s not to love about that? I know enough about Pacquiao to know that he’s probably going to stop Hatton and he’s probably going to do it in dramatic fashion, thus cementing himself and his legacy as the best current pound for pound boxer in the world.

I don’t know enough to provide accurate coverage of the fight, but our crack boxing staff here at Inside Fights has you covered. If you’re looking for extensive previews and that sort of thing, the boys over at Queensbury Rules have you covered.

Tune in this evening for complete coverage.

UPDATE: Manny Pacquiao made short work of Ricky Hatton, knocking him out in the second round of tonight’s much anticipated fight. He certainly cemented himself as the best boxer in the world today, and the only thing Ricky Hatton was able to prove is that he apparently cannot take a punch. Pacquiao was able to knock Hatton to the canvas twice in the first round and finished him with a scary shot that left Hatton’s eyes looking dazed and more than a little confused in the second.
