PWI’s Mike Johnson reports that the Necro Butcher and Mickey Rourke have been nominated for an MTV Movie Award for “WTF? Moment”, for the portion of their CZW hardcore match when the staple gun comes in to play. The awards will be taped at the end of the month and air on the 31st.
That other wrestler turned actor, Dwayne “Not the Rock anymore” Johnson, has landed the role of Captain Nemo in Disney’s 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea remake, according to PWI’s Mike Johnson.
Johnson also reports that Lucha Libre organization AAA is getting a second cable TV show, which will air on Canal SUR Mexico in June.
