The Undertaker is suffering from knee and hip problems and looks set to be out of action for a while. He was not brought to last week’s TV tapings, even though they were in Madison Square Garden, since there is a chance that he may have to undergo surgery. Nobody is sure yet of when this may be taking place, or of the extent of the damage that will be found when the doctors perform the operation. This is why WWE rushed the planned face turn for John Morrison, as well as endeavouring to portray CM Punk as a top babyface on Smackdown, since there is such long-term uncertainty surrounding Taker and, for contractual reasons, Jeff Hardy.
