For this Friday’s episode…
– Teddy Long introduces Rey Mysterio, who says he is at home on Smackdown. Mysterio invites anyone to challenge him for the Intercontinental Title. Chris Jericho answers him and demands a title match. Mysterio shoves him down and exits the ring. Jeff Hardy comes out and now if Jericho can beat him he will be added to the World Heavyweight Title at Judgement Day.
– Mike Knox pins R-Truth.
– Michelle McCool pins Gail Kim.
– Backstage, Josh Matthews interviews Hardy. He says Jericho is just a distraction and he will win the title.
– Backstage, Edge complains to Teddy Long about the title situation. Teddy books him against CM Punk for tonight.
– John Morrison pins Charlie Haas. Shelton Benjamin was in Haas’ corner.
– CM Punk beats Edge by count-out after Edge was thrown out of the ring and walked away. Umaga then came from the crowd to lay-out Punk with the Samoan Spike as Edge watched.
– Eve beats Layla in an arm-wrestling match, hosted by Cryme Tyme. Layla attacks Eve afterwards.
– Khali beat Dolph Ziggler by disqualification after Dolph hit him repeatedly with a chair to knock him down.
– CM Punk vs Umaga is added to the Judgement Day card.
– Jeff Hardy pinned Chris Jericho after a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb. Edge was on commentary and distracted Jericho for the finish. Afterwards, Mysterio got involved and knocked Jericho off of the top rope.
