On August 25, 2009, Warner Bros. will release the original, unrated version of Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers. The theatrical version, which was released fourteen years ago, went through 150 cuts and had approximately four minutes removed from the final edit in order for Stone to get an “R” rating.
This summer Warner Home Video will release Stone’s original vision on DVD and Blu-Ray with a high-def introduction by the director, a 44 page booklet, and extra features culled from previous releases.
The Blu-Ray will sale for $28.99, while the 2-disk Special Edition will sell for $20.97.
