News on New WWE Diva & House Show Booking

WWE’s latest developmental signing is Rachel Carr, a former body double for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Kylie Minogue. She is British but moved to Florida for modeling work, after which she was spotted in Ocean Drive magazine and signed to a deal. Now she spends five days per month at the Florida Championship Wrestling gym and was told it takes between six months and two years to be called up to the main WWE roster. She told the Sun newspaper that “I’ve only just begun the training so I’m not doing too much of the physical stuff at the moment. But because I can dance, I think I’ll manage. They want me to be a cutie. Because I’m quite small and little, they want the whole angel thing coming over.” She also admitted to having had liposuction and a boob job and never watching before Lou Maggio of WWE called her and offered her the spot.

John Laurinaitis now books the matches and finishes for house shows. He turns the scripts into the creative team at the end of the week and then they get in touch with them if any tweaks are needed. The basic rules are to put the faces over unless the heel is a bigger star, plus the face should win the main event (in a DQ if against a heel champion) to send the people home happy.
