Shelton Benjamin was interviewed by Tabari McCoy of Cincinatti.com. Everyone’s favorite case of potential unfullfilled talks about his pretty lofty career goals:
In the ring, obviously, I want to be known as one of the best of all time. If they ever do a top 50 pro wrestlers of all-time, I’d like to be in at least the top 10. That’s a pretty bold statement, and there’s an endless list of people to knock off that I give much respect to, mostly guys I’m a fan of myself.
He also likens wrestlers to mailmen due to their work ethic, is a cat lover, and talks about being a superstar who happens to be African American as opposed to being an African American superstar, giving props to those who paved the way for him in the business.
