When James Brennans (Jesse Eisenberg) post-college graduation trip to Europe is cancelled due to a family financial setback, James is forced to take a minimum wage summer job as a game operator at a ramshackle amusement park called Adventureland. The rides are broken, the games are rigged and the quirky husband and wife team (Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig) who run the place have staffed it with an assortment of goof-offs, whack-jobs and wannabes—as well as Em (Kristen Stewart), the beautiful and unattainable girl who works the booth next to James. As the summer unfolds in a blur of long hours and low pay, the park fills up with screaming kids, obnoxious teens and scam artists. Determined to steal his dream girl away from a studly (and married) maintenance man (Ryan Reynolds), James learns some valuable lessons no amount of higher education can provide.
Adventureland has a suggested retail price of $29.99 for the 1-Disc disc DVD, $39.99 for the 2-Disc DVD and $44.99 for 2-Disc Blu-ray Hi-Defâ„¢ including digital copy.
