The latest edition of the ROH Videowire is available for viewing at http://www.rohvideos.com/watch?v=uJtWnoiiCX4. Look for comments from the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Davey Richard and Eddie Edwards – The American Wolves, as well as a can’t miss interview with Eddie Kingston about his quest to battle Chris Hero, a sneak peek at the Super Smash Brothers versus Brent Albright and Erick Stevens, plus “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, and a preview of this weeks episode of Ring of Honor on HDNet!

Speaking of Brent Albright and Erick Stevens, they’ve signed to team up once again in Detroit on June 26th. This time they’ll face the duo of Kenny King and Rhett Titus. King and Titus are definitely the more established team, and under the guidance of Austin Aries have never looked sharper. Can the powerhouse tandem of Stevens and Albright plow over the cocky King and Titus, or will “Rhettski the Jet-ski” and the “Pretty Boy Pitbull” continue to impress in the ROH tag team division? Be there on 6/26 and find out!

Speaking of Kenny King, he’s signed for singles action on June 27th when ROH returns to Chicago! His opponent that night has come off a very successful tour for All-Japan Pro Wrestling, and is looking to find a home in ROH – Petey Williams! This match is sure to be one of the more athletic contests you’ll ever see. Can King continue to show why he may be the next rising star in ROH, or can Petey immediately make everyone take notice by scoring the win? Tickets to both Detroit and Chicago are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com!

Former ROH World Champion, Nigel McGuinness, has read the main page from yesterday (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2825), and seems to be happy about the uncertainty of his situation. “No one knows exactly what to expect,” said Nigel. “The fans don’t, the wrestlers don’t, I don’t, and Cary Silkin doesn’t either. But one thing is for certain, I’ve got everyone on their toes – even the ol’ Nature Boy. I’ll sit at ringside in New York, and he won’t even know what to expect while he referees the title match. And this weekend in Philadelphia, I’ll make sure to keep the HDNet crew and everyone else on their toes as well.” Nigel will be in Philly this weekend, as well as in Manassas on 6/12, and of course at the Hammerstein on 6/13!

ROH officials are meeting with representatives of Pro Wrestling NOAH this weekend in Philadelphia to discuss KENTA’s opponents in Detroit and Chicago. ROH wants to deliver two ‘top shelf’ matches, and we hope to have an announcement next week!

May 28th: D’Lo Brown is happy to be returning to his old stomping grounds – Chicago. And his match on June 27th stems from the Four Corner Survival he had in Houston this past April. “I had a shot,” said Brown. “I had a chance to shock the world and win the ROH Title. But in looking forward to carrying the gold, I overlooked someone in that match. Someone who was bad enough to stand toe-to-toe with me. Well, Erick Stevens, let’s see if you can do it again. I wouldn’t bet on it.” It’ll be a battle of heavyweights as D’Lo will face Stevens in Chicago!
