Fox announces The Towering Inferno for Blu-ray

The 1970s saw the Golden Age of the Disaster Movie, the most famous of which boasted all-star casts. And while Airport had Burt Lancaster, Dean Martin, and George Kennedy, and Earthquake starred Charlton Heston, Ava Gardner, and George Kennedy, take a look at The Towering Inferno’s lineup: Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Faye Dunaway, William Holden, Fred Astaire, and O.J. Simpson! The 1974 film earned eight Academy Awards nominations with three wins, including Best Editing and Cinematography. You know where to reach me on July 14th.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!"
