During the 1960s and 1970s many hippies moved from around the world to India in search of a richer, more spiritual life. The majority returned home, but a select few decided to stay to find that transcendental life and be the subject of award-winning documentaries.
Hippie Masala tells the stories of Italian expatriate Cesare, the Swiss Hanspeter, and the South African Erica and Gillian who all left their respective homes in order to find a pure life in India.
The movie will sell for $24.99 and will release June 2, 2009.
