WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 05/30/09

Reviews, Webshows

When the Weekly Top Five got a new look last month, they also changed the format and gave the “WWE Universe” fans the option of choosing the clips every week. And since then, Smackdown has been the more popular brand on WTF with three clips almost every week, compared to just one by Raw and ECW each. I see that as a vote of confidence by the fans in the new post-draft Smackdown which has been so much better than Raw. I hope WWE will also see the signs, realize how superior Smackdown has been lately and try not to mess it up.

Cryme Tyme kick us off with Word Up and the first thing they do is pimp their new shirt. DX they’re not. The word of the week is TILTIN’ – annoyed of frustrated or full-un steamed. Shad is tiltin’ at JTG for his bad advice on getting Eve. JT, in response, just talks like Yoda.

On Santino’s Casa Santino continues his feud with the Guerreros and presents his public service announcement, aimed to raise awareness to TVV – Thickie Vickie Virus. The PSA includes advice on how to identify the symptoms as well as ways to combat it.

This week’s Weekly Top Five are the double suplex that John Cena and Batista performed on Big Show at the end of Raw, Chris Jericho’s surprise attack on Rey Mysterio from Smackdown, Umaga’s great looking Samoan Drop on John Morrison from Smackdown, the ending of Evan Bourne vs. Mark Henry from ECW and John Morrison’s amazing spinning DDT on Umaga, again from their Smackdown match. That’s right, there are two clips from the same match on the top three moments this week, because John Morrison (And I’m not taking anything away from Umaga) is just that awesome.
