Ric Flair talked about why he decided to stop making appearances for ROH with the New York Daily News’s wrestling blog. Flair says he considered it a conflict of interest to appear on WWE and ROH TV and praise both promotions, and since he’s more comfortable in WWE, they won out.
That said, he’s not working under contract for WWE at the moment; he’s been making his appearances with a verbal agreement. Flair says he’s still retired from the ring, but when asked if he’d wrestle another match, he said he would consider returning to the ring “under very special circumstances.”
