Warner Home Video has announced 6-disc DVD ($59.98) and 4-disc Blu-ray ($79.98) releases of Smallville: The Complete Eighth Season for the 25th August. Extras will include cast/creator commentaries, unaired scenes, and 2 featurettes (“In the Directors Chair: Behind the Lens and Calling the Shots with Allison Mack”, “Smallvilles Doomsday: The Making of a Monster”). Here is what the show is about, if you didn’t know:
“Theres a new reporter at the Daily Planet: Clark Kent, who shares a workspace with Lois Lane. Theres a new hero in Metropolis, too. No one knows who he is.
