WWE has acknowledged Mitsuharu Misawa’s death on their website, in their Industry News section. John Laurinaitis, who wrestled in All Japan Pro Wrestling as Johnny Ace before Misawa started NOAH, is the man who gave WWE’s statement. He offered condolences to Misawa’s family, friends, and fans and said that Misawa will be “remembered as one of the all-time greats in Japan.”
