MMA Weekly with the scoop: Tyson Griffin and Hermes Franca have agreed in principle to a bout at UFC 103, and bout agreements will be distributed and signed shortly.
UFC 103 will take place September 19th in Dallas, Texas. Other bouts already agreed to for the show include Josh Koscheck taking on the returning Frank Trigg and Ultimate Fighter winner Efrain Escudero taking on Cole Miller.
The company has no firm idea on what the main event for the show will be, as they’d originally planned on having the Lyoto Machida/Mauricio Rua fight on that show before moving it to the Los Angeles show. There are no real title bouts available for that show unless Anderson Silva takes zero punishment and scores a very quick victory over Forrest Griffin in the August bout.
