More Comic-Con Panels: 24, Futurama and Maybe Glee; Plus Comic-Con TV Panel Schedule

Jack Bauer is coming to Comic-Con — and he’s bringing Starbuck with him.

The stars of 24 — including Kiefer Sutherland and new cast member Katee Sackhoff, late of Battlestar Galactica — will be part of a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 24. They’ll be part of a pretty hefty presence from 20th Century Fox TV, which will present panels for nine of its shows, including Futurama, Bones and even Glee, the musical comedy airing on FOX in the fall.

Glee might seem a bit of an odd fit for the sci fi- and action-heavy lineup of Comic-Con, but the story of outsiders pursuing their passion could appeal to the Con crowd. Attendees at the 90-minute session on Saturday, July 25 will also get the first look at a new episode, followed by a panel with stars Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Cory Monteith.

The 24 panel will also include Mary Lynn Rajskub, new cast members Anil Kapoor and Freddie Prinze Jr. and executive producer Howard Gordon, and will include a sneak peek at the coming season.

The studio’s other panels are:

Bones – Q-and-A with showrunner Hart Hanson and stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz.

Dollhouse – The previously announced two-hour session featuring a screening of unaired episode “Epitaph One,” and Q-and-A with Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku.

Family Guy – Creator Seth MacFarlane and cast members Seth Green and Mila Kunis will preview “Something, Something Dark Side,” the show’s “Empire Strikes Back” parody.

The Cleveland Show – Right after the Family Guy panel, creators MacFarlane, Mike Henry and Rich Appel will give fans a preview of the spinoff series.

Futurama – Matt Groening, David X. Cohen and cast members Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio and Maurice LaMarche will be there, and “Paramedics will be standing by in case the intense excitement causes any panelists to collapse.” (You know, just in case.)

The Simpsons – Groening will stick around to discuss what’s new in Springfield with showrunner Al Jean, executive producer Matt Selman and supervising director Mike Anderson. Fans will get to see a preview of “Treehouse of Horror XX.”

American Dad – An “insider’s look” at the creation of an episode with exec producers Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman and cast members MacFarlane, Wendy Schall and Dee Bradley Baker.
