Reports indicate that Candice Michelle was released by WWE due to issues with her weight when she appeared backstage at the TV tapings in Los Angeles last month. She had been recovering from her latest injury and WWE officials felt that her appearance was not in keeping with what one of their Divas should look like.

TNA will promote this weekend’s Bobby Lashley vs Bob Sapp fight on tonight’s Impact. Lashley told CBS Sports there was talk of him fighting Kurt Angle at one point but it fell through due to Angle’s neck injuries.
