I’m a little surprised this story hasn’t gotten more traction, but that’s how it goes: MMA Bay is reporting that Rashad Evans and Rampage Jackson will square off in Memphis for the UFC’s annual year-end show. MMA Bay is associated and has a close relationship with the Wolfslair (they’re an official sponsor for the camp) and they’re almost always deadly accurate when it comes to anything regarding the British camp.
I’ve heard different stories about the year end show. I’ve heard that no date has been officially decided yet, but I do know that Memphis is being considered for a show in December. I’m just not sure it’s the official year end show, the one that will be called The Ultimate 2009.
