Pulse Wrestling’s Real-Time RAW Coverage – 06.29.09

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, TV Shows

Welcome Pulse Readers to tonight’s real-time coverage of WWE RAW! I’ll be here and on my Official Twitter Page all evening. You can follow me on Twitter by looking at my Twitter feed at the bottom of this live report.

Bear with me tonight as the uploading site is being slow.

Vince McMahon makes his way out on the stage to kick off tonight’s RAW. He is in a happy mood, in a way. He says that if Donald Trump was still in charge, the show would be commercial free and the fans would get their money back. He can’t promise commercial-free, but he teases refunding the tickets. Behind the scenes, Donald Trump has screwed Vince in the worst way. The guest host is still on for tonight as is a special 15 Superstar Draft. However, Vince picks the guest host…DAVE BATISTA!

And the crowd goes mild.

Batista promises some fun tonight. He wants to do a four men tournament tonight to determine who faces Orton at Night of Champions. We’ll get Miz v. Cena and MVP v. Triple H. Batista didn’t want to do this tonight, but he…gets interrupted by Legacy.

Randy says that Batista shouldn’t had come back. What is stopping them from tearing what is left of Batista apart. Batista says that nothing is stopping him…except that he’ll fire the three of them tonight. Batista continues, saying that Vince promised him unlimited power. That includes making Orton’s life a living nightmare. Orton says that he went through Hell and Batista mocks him. Batista won’t make Orton defend the title tonight. What Orton has to worry about is his competition tonight. So the five superstars that RAW acquired tonight…Orton has to face three of them in a gauntlet match.

MVP v. Triple H is NEXT!

The WWE RAW Report Card

Randy Orton loses the Gauntlet Match: C
Big Show b. Kofi Kingston went to a double countout: F

The FINAL Grade for RAW 06.29.09: C

Well, RAW went out like a lamb for the month of June. The Cena/Triple H show continues to roll on, despite the chances they had to make new stars with MVP and the Miz. ECW gets raped as Bourne, Swagger, and Henry jump to RAW as we “correct the draft mistakes that were made back in April”.

I won’t be here next week and I’m sure a replacement will be found. I’ll catch you around because you know I can’t stay away that long. Have a great week!
