WWE Raw Preview: Vince Promises Special Guest, Title Match Announced, Trump Tease

News

WWE Raw is live tonight, and as the first Raw following the Bash PPV, some new storylines could be started on the way to Night of Champions and eventually Summerslam.

So far, there has been a tag team title match announced pitting new champs Chris Jericho and Edge against Primo and Carlito as the only match signed.

In addition, Vince McMahon has promised a special guest to open the show with a promo, and has teased that the guest could be Donald Trump.

Here is the official WWE.com statement on the event:

STAMFORD, Conn. – After yesterday’s monumental announcement by Monday Night Raw “owner” Donald Trump that all ticket holders attending last night’s show in Green Bay would receive a ticket refund, the tables were turned and he was unceremoniously “fired” by Mr. McMahon. Fortunately, prior to being “fired,” Donald Trump doubled his money by selling Monday Night Raw back to Mr. McMahon.

Although Trump is no longer the “owner” of Monday Night Raw, this may not be the end of the feud between these two world class promoters.
