WWE is not yet done with Donald Trump. The writers are currently trying to come up with ideas to get Trump back onscreen as quickly as possible following the high ratings for last week’s Raw, which some, including Variety, are attributing to the Trump angle rather than the commercial-free nature of the show. Vince McMahon had pulled the plug on the angle because of a dip in WWE’s stock price after the storyline announcement that Trump had bought Raw, which some mainstream business publications bought into as a legitimate transaction last week. The general consensus on Wall Street is that if anybody other than Vince McMahon promotes a wrestling company then it is not worth investing in. By the time Trump was written out of the show, the stock price was returning to normal levels.
