MTV announced Tuesday its rather diverse development slate that reads like a menagerie: Jamie Foxx, Teen Wolf, Warren the Ape and even a former Cheetah Girl.

MTV has also signed a first-look production deal with Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts and star of Nancy Drew and Hotel for Dogs, and her Bossy Boots company, along with manager/producing partner David Sweeney.

Other familiar names include reality show executive producer Mark Burnett, who has a project with The Hills’ Audrina Patridge as the star and P.Diddy’s Starmaker.

Check out the MTV series in development:

Teen Wolf – The ’80s movie classic reinvented into a Twilight-esque series that focuses on the hairier of the supernatural beings. But yes, there will be romance as well.

Warren the Ape – A spoof on the celebrity comeback starring a D-list celebrity puppet who tries to get back into the limelight.

Jamie Foxx’s “Untitled Sketch Comedy Show (working title) – Executive produced by the Oscar winner, this will be the next generation of In Living Color.

The Awesomes – From Saturday Night Live writer/Weekend Update anchor Seth Meyers, Lorne Michaels and Mike Shoemaker’s company, this animated series centers on a bumbling superhero and his pals as they battle villains and the paparazzi (same difference, no?)

Patito Feo – This award-winning teen drama has traveled from Argentina to American shores and revolves around the adventures of a small town Mexican girl transplanted into Los Angeles.

Hard Times – Unpopular teen RJ Berger finds infamy overnight when his um, endowment, is made public.

Adrienne Bailon Project (working title) – The former Cheetah Girl tries to shake off the girl group image and prove herself in her hometown of New York City.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
