Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is a direct-to-DVD adaptation of the popular run on Superman/Batman by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness. Lex Luthor is president of the United States, and Superman and Batman don’t take too kindly to this change in the status quo, which Luthor uses as an opportunity to brand them as traitors. The World’s Finest superteam must fight against the whole world in order to stop Luthor’s evil plans.
The movie features the voice talents of Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly, and Clancy Brown–all reprising their roles from the Batman, Superman, and Justice League cartoons. It will be sold in single disk, double disk, and Blu-ray versions which will respectively retail for $19.98, $24.98, and $29.99. Extra features on the double and Blu-ray releases include:
– A sneak peak at DC Universe’s upcoming movie, a Blackest Night: Inside the DC Comics Event
– A Test of Minds: Superman and Batman
– 2 bonus cartoons presented by Bruce Timm
The Blu-ray release will also include an additional 20-Minute Wait: Reuniting the Superman/Batman Animated Series Casts feature hosted by Andrea Romano, and an additional 4 bonus cartoons handpicked by Bruce Timm.
