A bout between Yushin Okami and Chael Sonnen has been scheduled for UFC 104, and will be on the main card portion of the pay per view broadcast.
I remember Okami being spoken of as a contender nearly two years ago, but injuries and his lack of appeal to the casual fan have derailed his chances for a title shot with middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Sonnen has two fights in his return to the UFC with a loss to Demian Maia and a win over Dan Miller at UFC 98. A win over Okami would no doubt push Sonnen towards the top half of the middleweight heap where Dan Henderson, Nate Marquardt and Maia are all jostling position for a title shot.
