Amir Khan won the WBA Light Welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Andreas Kotelnik. The scores were 120-108, 118-111, and 118-111. Khan is just 22 years old and won a silver medal in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. It was Khan’s first fight at 140 pounds. His record improved to 21-1 (15 KOs). Kotelnik falls to 31-3-1 (13 KOs) with the loss.
