Jon Heder To Star In New Will Ferrell Produced Comedy Central Show

News

Comedy Central is developing a sitcom starring Jon Heder of Napoleon Dynamite fame and produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Heder will play an IT specialist who loses his job and has to move home with his parents and younger brother.

Comedy Central has picked up 10 episodes of the show with 90 more coming if the show is a “hit”. This deal is similar to Tyler Perry and his House of Payne series deal with TBS.

“We’ve always been fans of Jon’s,” McKay says. “This deal gives us a chance to take some big creative swings without the risk of testing and focus grouping the show to death.” The show is scheduled to premiere in 2010.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
