Susan Sarandon, John Goodman, and Eric McCormack Casting News

News

Susan Sarandon and John Goodman have joined Al Pacino in an HBO movie about Dr. Jack Kevorkian called You Don’t Know Jack. The film will follow Kevorkian’s (Pacino) rise to prominence as an assisted-suicide advocate and the numerous legal battles over the procedure — including his 1999 conviction for second-degree murder for helping a terminally ill patient kill himself.

Susan Sarandon will play Janet Good, a Hemlock Society activist and ally of Kevorkian’s. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Good asked Kevorkian to help her end her life.

John Goodman will play another of Kevorkian’s colleagues, Neal Nicol. The movie will be loosely based on the book “Between the Dying and the Dead,” which Nicol co-wrote with Harry Wylie.

In other casting news, Eric McCormack of Will & Grace fame will have a recurring part on the CBS’ New Adventures of Old Christine as a therapist and new love interest for Christine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
