WWE.com has reported that Brian Kendrick has been released. I’d venture to imagine that we’ll see Spanky back on TV once his no-compete has run out, but unless something happened behind-the-scenes that no one’s talking about, it seems to me this was a wasted opportunity to get behind a solid, exciting wrestler who could be a fun mid-carder for years to come. And the number of former Shawn Michaels trainees on WWE TV is back down to 0.
