Dancing with the Stars would like to have Paula Abdul along with FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance

The final season of Lost will premiere sometime in early 2010, but ABC doesn’t know when or where yet. Lost will run for 18 hours this season, an hour longer than initially expected.

– Here is the synopsis for ABC’s new show, Modern Family: “The focus will be on three families — a traditional mom and dad with a couple kids, an older guy married to a young woman and a gay couple that’s just adopted a baby — are all really one big family. The older guy (Ed O’Neill) is the father of one half of the gay couple (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and the harried mom (Julie Bowen) in the traditional family, and their partners and kids complete the cast.”

– Cybill Shepherd will guest-star in multiple episodes of Eastwock. She’ll be playing a witch who’s been using her powers for a good deal longer than the three principal witches, played by Lindsay Price, Rebecca Romijn and Jaime Ray Newman.

– The alien invasion of V , a remake of the 1980s miniseries will premiere at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3. It will slide into the spot that Shark Tank has earlier in the season.

– Elizabeth Mitchell will be making her way back to Lost for its final season. Mitchell said she will be “traveling to Hawaii more than once” to work on the show’s last season. So did JUliet blow up with the bomb or not? On V, Mitchell plays an FBI agent who’s first skeptical of the alien visitors and eventually becomes a leader of the resistance.

– Neil Flynn stars in the network’s new comedy The Middle, but he said “there’s a good chance” he’ll make a return appearance on Scrubs this season as well.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
