Here are the highlights from ABC’s Flash Forward‘s presentation at TCA’s Summer Press Tour …

– The creators said that most of the questions surrounding the show would be revealed by the end of season 1, with one big one being revealed at the end of the pilot episode. But they need about three seasons to answer everything.

– The show is loosely based on a novel by Robert J. Sawyer called “FlashForward”.

– What creator, David Goyer, learned from Lost: “I’m an enormous, enormous fan of ‘Lost’ … and it proved to me there could be a place for a show like that on TV.

– Dominic Monaghan said there are obvious similarities between Flash Forward and Lost, but there are “distinct differences” . He said the mythology of Flash Forward isn’t as complex.

– The creators want people to watch this show for the character-based stuff about how people deal with the visions of the future they see. But most will like the science-fiction stuff as well.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
