As of Friday, August 1, people close to Jeff Hardy were saying, according to Bryan Alvarez at F4Wonline.com, that Hardy would be gone from WWE after SummerSlam. Of course, a couple days later, Alvarez reports, the WWE creative team was making plans for Jeff through September. In the August 10th Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer also said that Jeff is being advertised for an October TV taping and that WWE might be trying to keep him longer due to him being the hottest babyface in the company. Jeff has talked about doing a reality show, and WWE said they will help him if he stays, but who knows?
Meanwhile, it’s looking like Lilian Garcia’s last day with WWE will be the Raw show on August 24 – the day after SummerSlam – in Las Vegas.
