Rafael Concepcion came in overweight for his fight with Nonito Donaire for the interim WBA Super Flyweight Championship. Donaire came in at the 115 pound limit but Concepcion tipped the scales at 119.5 pounds. The fight will still go on but only Donaire can win the title with a win. Concepcion was also fined 20% of his purse which comes to $13,000. Donaire gets $6,500 of that amount while the remaining balance goes to the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
